I love Mr. O’Neal’s tongue-in-cheek response. He really flips the situation on her.
Instead of supplicating (playing into her frame), her evaluates by saying she has sadness inside her, criticizes her for choosing to be in a bad mood, and then he puts the nail in the coffin by getting the crowd to laugh at her jokes. He squashes any chance if her responding with some twisted logic by gaining social approval from the crowd.
I want to apply this to a two set, where one girl is being difficult. This is assuming the two girls are besties, and you have already hooked up with the better behaved girl.
